A helping hand

everybody need a helping hand sometimes, and thats exactly what this teddy is here to do. he is reaching out his arm to anyone who needs him, whilst keeping you warm and safe.

the painting was originally called "snakes in paradise" but the snake got a bit too goofy, so i strayed away from that idea.

and as visable, im obsessed with color combinations. the effect colors has on our psyche is imense, and i will often spend weeks just finetweaking each color. 

this is a fine dance between the perfect and imperfect, as i am leaning into messy brushstrokes and rough edges on purpose. i find beauty in the imperfect, and often find the end result to be more interesting when leaning into this, instead of trying to polish every edge.
