the witch doctor takes place in my imagination, it speaks of healing, death and rebirth, and our archetypal instincts disguised as animals. throughout my later works, i`ve used a lot of animals to point out aspects of our psyche. and even though the colors of each work is magical, you`ll often find a hidden aspect of psychological horror in each of them. either through traumatised beings, or elongated structures or teeth. 

i like painting like a kid. i feel like in a world that is burning, it`s more important then ever to focus on our own journey of healing, and connecting to our inner child. the child knows, the adult guesses.
